Our Story and Vision

ASPIRE-BioNEST was launched on National Science Day, 28th February 2018, with the mission to foster a thriving ecosystem for life sciences innovation at the University of Hyderabad. Our vision is to be the premier hub for technology-driven start-ups in the fields of Agriculture, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Pharmaceuticals. We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a BSL2 lab, to support our incubatees in developing groundbreaking solutions. Our commitment to nurturing talent and ideas has led to the creation of over 15 products and technologies, providing employment opportunities and training for hundreds of individuals. Recognized as the best-emerging bio-incubator by BIRAC in 2021, ASPIRE-BioNEST continues to attract start-ups from across India due to its robust infrastructure and supportive environment.

ASPIRE-BioNEST is dedicated to advancing life sciences through a comprehensive support system for start-ups. Our facilities are equipped with modern instrumentation for both upstream and downstream processing, enabling researchers to conduct high-level scientific investigations. With a focus on innovation, we have generated over 18 intellectual properties and achieved a 95% occupancy rate. Our strategic location at the University of Hyderabad provides access to a wealth of academic resources and expertise, making us a preferred choice for entrepreneurs in Telangana and beyond. We strive to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial application, ensuring that innovative ideas are transformed into viable technologies that benefit society.

Inauguration Day

ASPIRE-BioNEST was officially inaugurated on National Science Day by Prof. G. Padmanaban, marking the beginning of a new era in biotechnology incubation.

Achieved 6th rank in Biospectrum India’s list of top bio-incubators within a year of establishment, highlighting our rapid growth and impact.

COVID-19 Response
